Artificial intelligence played center stage in discussions at Jerusalem’s MIXiii Health-Tech.IL conference. The annual conference, organized by the Israel Advanced Technology Industries Association (IATI), brings together entrepreneurs, venture capital firms, multinational companies, hospitals, researchers and policymakers from around the world to explore the future of healthcare.
Dr. Klasko delivered the event’s keynote address, challenging the audience to imagine medicine in 2035 through a holographic presentation that envisions pop star Taylor Swift as president. Dr. Klasko predicts that as healthcare approaches a dramatic transformation similar to previous “unimaginable changes,” artificial intelligence will increasingly handle routine analysis and administrative tasks, allowing providers to spend more time with patients.
According to Dr. Klasko, “Two healthcare roles emerge as we move forward: clinicians enhanced by AI technology and AI agents designed to help patients achieve their personal health goals. Training the workforce for these evolving roles is the greatest challenge.”
